Stories of Enfield

Stories of Enfield

Enfield Council have been awarded funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver Stories of Enfield in-between 2020 and 2022.

Through Stories of Enfield we will support local people and communities from across the borough in developing and delivering heritage activities, from exhibitions and festivals to theatre performances and cookery classes. To achieve this, we will fund a diverse range of exciting and creative projects on Enfield’s heritage. We define heritage broadly, ranging from stories of communities and cultures through to food, dance, traditional sports and historic buildings.

Before accepting applications we will be offering a heritage training programme which will run in June 2021. Attending this training will support you in developing your heritage project. Please contact Cultural Heritage Development Officer Dorian Knight on dorian.knight@enfield.gov.uk to discuss your project and to sign up to the training.

By sharing and supporting stories of local communities and engaging people with heritage, Enfield will become an even better place to live, work in and visit.

Please continue to check this pages for regular updates about the project over the next two years.
