March events at the Museum of Enfield, Dugdale Centre

Children’s activities:

Little Museum Explorers - Tuesday 12th March 2019, 10.30am-11.30am, £1 per child in advance:

Join our storytellers for stories and rhymes inspired by the Broomfield Boating Lake. Book here

Saturday Arts Club – Saturday 30th March 2019, 10am-12noon, Adults FREE

Adult workshops:

Monday Mindful Arts Café – Monday 4th and Monday 18th March 2019, 12.30pm-1.30pm.

£6 per adult, delivered by local artist Lisa Howes. Come and take part in a regular arts class in the café foyer with Art Stop. Book here.

Adult Museum Makers with Art Stop – Monday 11th March 2019, 6.30pm-8pm.

£15 per adult, create lino prints inspired by the patterns and textiles inside Broomfield House. Book here.

Natural Weaving Workshops in Partnership with Yogart London - Saturday 16th March 2019, 11am-2pm.

£40 per adult: Join Yolanda to make natural Weaving Wall Hangings for Beginners. Book here.

Colour therapy with Artist Patrick Samuel - Saturday 30th March 2019, 1pm-3pm.

£10 per person: Join local artist Patrick Samuel to paint using colourful pastels in these sessions inspired by Broomfield Park. Book here.

Heritage Talks and Tours:

Broomfield Park revealed tour with Broomfield House Trust – Wednesday 20th March, 1.30pm-2.30pm.

£3 per person. This tour takes place inside Broomfield Park, starting on the top of Aldermans Hill and Powys Lane. Book here.

Archives in Focus Tours – Maps of Enfield - Friday 29th March 2019, 10am-11am.

£3 per person: This has been a popular event, selling out every time! This tour will show highlights of our maps of Enfield collection. Get up close to some rare maps dating back to the 1658 commonwealth map through the world wars up to the present day. Book here.

Mother’s Day Craft Market:

Made in Enfield Craft Market - Sunday 24th March 2019, 11am-4pm, FREE ENTRY.

A chance to shop in the Museum of Enfield Gift Shop for locally made handcrafted items, food stalls, live music and a purchase bar.
