Join the popular Stories and Moreschool holiday workshop on Monday 18th February. Listen to stories, rhymes and take part in fun craft activities. The workshop is suitable for under 5s and takes place from 10.30am-11.30am; children must be accompanied by an adult, only £4 per child in advance. To book click here

Continuing the crafts theme we are also pleased to announce a Mask Making Workshoprecommended for children aged 4 to 11 years based on the Lanscroon Murals of Broomfield House.Start the day by walking around the Broomfield House and Park exhibition, then create drawings, make your own mask to take photos in and take home.All materials are included in this workshop taking place on Thursday 21st Februaryat 10.30am-12pm and 1.00pm-2.30pm, only £5 per child. The Treasures of the Archives Touron Friday 22nd Februaryis a wonderful opportunity to see rare items in the Enfield Local Studies and Archive Centre collection and is led by Local Studies Officer John Clark. Further your knowledge of the local area and view a selection of items from a variety of different periods. Only £3 per person. To book click here

Local artist Alex McHallam remembers being fascinated by the Lanscroon Murals at Broomfield House as a child.She now invites you to her own exhibition which features archived images of the Murals as well as some of her own which she has combined to create an interactive artwork.This allows the viewer themselves to be a part of the artwork and reflect on the artist’s concern in drawing attention to places that are in danger of being lost and how to look after artworks that form part of our local heritage.
