Fresh off the US tour of their critically acclaimed show Crazy Glue,London-based Single Shoe Productions will present A Disappearing Actat The Dugdale Centre, Enfield on the 8,9,10 March at 7:45pm.
Inspired by stories from NHS paramedics, TED Talks and magic, A Disappearing Actis an immersive comedy about our inevitable mortality, the rituals we use to accept it and how we say goodbye to the ones we love.
Supported by Arts Council England, greenhouse seed funding and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, A Disappearing Acthas been developed at Norfolk's Sheringham Little Theatre, Bracknell's South Hill Park Arts Centre and Enfield's Dugdale Centre. Single Shoe are now excited to present a 45-minute preview of their newest work, which will premiere this summer at Edinburgh Festival.

Founded in 2011, London-based Single Shoe Productions combines theatre, clown, dance and film to tell stories that are intercultural, inventive and playful.
The company’s first theatre piece CRAZY GLUE premiered to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014 and toured the UK, Germany, Bulgaria and USA, with future tours planned for Scotland and Sweden.
The company has received support from the Arts Council England, British Council, Creative Scotland, Green House Seed Funding & the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
In 2016, Single Shoe became an associate company of South Hill Park Arts Centre.
