LGBT+ History Month Exhibition

Throughout February young people from Enfield’s LGBT+ community will be leading on an LGBT+ exhibition at the Dugdale Arts Centre. The exhibition is free and showcases the history of LGBT from the Stonewall Uprising in 1969 through to 2020 and embraces the history month theme of Poetry, Prose and Plays - Educate out prejudice and make LGBT+ people visible in all their rich diversity.
The exhibition will comprise a mirror element where members of the public can look at the mirror and press a button, to experience the kind of comments that members of the LGBT community may be subject to.
It will also comprise some art work by young members of 'Proud North London' as well as a 'closet' door for people to come out of - coupled with a comments box.
